BS Sweet Candied Onions
Smokin' Chipotle BBQ Sauce
Ingredients:
-
2 TBSP of BS Grillin' Co. Smokin' Chipotle BBQ Sauce
-
1 onion per person
-
1 can chicken broth
Instructions:
Cut off both ends of the onions, cutting the bottom just enough so the onion sits flat. Hollow out the onion top about 1 inch deep, making a well for the BBQ sauce. Put 2 TBSP Smokin' Chipotle in each well.
Place the onions in a dish with enough chicken broth to cover the bottom. Set dish in grill, smoker, or oven for an hour at 300 degrees. After an hour, add more BBQ sauce and chicken broth. Slice the onions into quarters and cook for another hour until totally softened.
Serve the warm onion quarters over steak, pork, or chicken.
